Established in 2012, MB Construction are independent specialists in high-end, luxury residential and commercial building projects across Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

The founder, Matt Barker, has created a reputable construction company with the capability and expertise to carry out multiple, large-scale contracts, whilst providing the personal service you would expect from a local business.

Starting his career as an apprentice carpenter, Matt gained valuable, first-hand experience creating oak and timber-frame structures, moving into heavy construction and groundwork.  Within three years, Matt became a site manager for various contracting companies, working on one-off and multiple projects. During this time, Matt built a strong network of trusted sub-contractors who, to this day, still work with him.

This experience provided Matt with the perfect foundation to launch MB Construction to support the growing demand for his skills on bespoke and larger-scale developments.

MB Construction has grown to be well-respected by local architects in new build homes, renovations, conversions, large extensions, high-end projects and bespoke interiors. As a member of The Federation of Master Builders, each member of the team is highly skilled and knowledgeable in their individual trade. From a quantity surveyor who will provide you with a detailed and competitive quote, with complete transparency, to specialist craftsmen who can design and create bespoke features for your property.

With the ever-changing building regulations, it’s crucial your project complies with The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM). We have a health and safety manager who will regularly visit the site, design our safe working practices and manage the health and safety paperwork. A member of our management team will also be on-hand throughout the project to manage the team and be on-hand to answer any questions you may have to ensure your expectations are always being met.
